C.C.B.'s unique Reading and Essay Program targets all critical areas utilizing literature that may or may not be in your child's regular academic curriculum. However, all texts used are beneficial to your child's level of reading awareness. Through in-depth analysis and group discussion, students are able to thoroughly examine themes and motifs, characters and symbols. Students then take their observations and produce essays that are then critiqued by the teacher. The objectives of our Reading & Essay Program are to have students read critically and to write essays with a clear voice expressing their opinion in a well-written manner.
